Due to Corality Financial Group’s rapid growth and international expansion, an opportunity has come up for a dedicated sales / business development professional to join our energetic, professional services company. Corality is an analytical consulting firm specialising in financial modelling, advisory, model audits and training. With offices in Sydney, London and Singapore, we work with organisations of all sizes, globally. Corality’s clients include Leighton Contractors, CBA, Standard Chartered, UBS, Rio Tinto and Lend Lease but to name a few.

Corality is an industry thought leader and 2011 BRW Fast Starter. Our client base spans a wide range of industries; from banking and finance, construction and development through to retail and corporate clients. We offer analytical consulting services in various sectors including investments, corporate finance, project finance, private equity, risk, strategy, operations, commercial and accounting.

Corality assists clients with decision support analysis which allows them to make informed decisions and increase profitability. We assist mining companies with project investment analysis, retail clients with strategic margin analysis and infrastructure providers with long term funding analysis, just to name a few.

Your responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral member of Corality’s Sales and Marketing team reporting into the Global Head of Business Development. You will focus on promoting Corality’s services to new and existing clients whilst managing the sales pipeline and identifying new business opportunities through cold-calls or industry contacts. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to join an experienced and highly professional team and contribute to our ongoing international success.

The ideal candidate needs to be well presented, self motivated and prepared to hit the ground running by putting their established network to good use. Working closely with the Global Head of Business Development, you will have a proven track record of identifying and hunting new business across a number of corporate sectors in Sydney.

This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced and driven BD professional with a great personality and a passion for creative sales solutions and lead management. If you wish to make your mark within the professional services industry, working closely with key players in the Banking and Finance space, then this role is for you.

Your skills

The client facing nature of this role requires you to be professional and personable. Moreover, you will have a strong interest in Financial Services, be knowledgeable about market movements and have a professional approach to all aspects of your work. We particularly look for candidates that:

  • Have a Bachelor Degree (Finance, Accounting or Commerce)
  • Have proven sales and/or BD experience
  • Have a genuine, outgoing and approachable personality
  • Have strong business acumen
  • Are confident and can think ‘outside-the-box’
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Are true team players
  • Analytically minded with an understanding of financial modelling/Finance
  • Have proven client service experience; and
  • Bring a positive attitude to a collaborative work environment
